Habs Blog: Eyes On The Prize
Friday was wonderful. It was simply fun. When the Red Wings play like that it makes you fall in love with hockey all over again. Add in the fact it was against the Blackhawks and it might've been the perfect hockey game (okay so not perfect but it was damn great. The perfect hockey game still remains game 7 of the 2002 western conference finals).
But Friday is over. It's on to Montreal. The Wings should've beaten them a few weeks ago. Pavel should've had a beauty of a goal. Detroit should have another point. Sadly none of that exists. Tonight the Wings can make up for all of that. They get the Habs on the second night of a back-to-back. Take advantage of the opportunity. Gain ground in the Atlantic and continue to solidfy that playoff position.
