The Jackets were a better underdog story than the Red Wings last year and were rooted for more-heavily than probably any other team in the first round. Then they lost because they weren't good enough and people promptly forgot about them again.
This season, Columbus is off to a rough start thanks in large part to a slew of injuries, the worst of which is Nathan Horton's career-threatening back problems. I honestly really do feel awful for him. I hope that he's able to get healthy enough to play without destroying his back for later in life.
Detroit has a lot to atone for after Sunday's mess against Montreal. Columbus always plays the Wings tough. How about playing above an inferior opponent for a change, huh?
Have fun in the comments and let's go Red Wings.
