The good news is that Ferraro is only 23 and can still rebound and become an NHL player. I do not think that he'll ever be a player with the Wings, in part due to our depth at the position, but he does have the talent to play on another team.

So much for that trade request. From a Leafs perspective, this is great. You can trade him in due time, and if nothing else, you have a really good #2 goaltender.
