Hoo boy the Capitals are hot lately. 7-1-2 in their last ten and currently in the top wild card playoff spot. Six skaters with double-digit goals and one guy who already has more than 20 (guess who!) Top ten in goal scoring and top half in defense, the Caps play an uptempo style with a dangerous power play (4th in the league). If this one is going to come down to special teams, Detroit needs to have more man advantages than they allow.

We're going to be seeing Teemu Pulkkinen in a regular season Wings game for the first time this season. He'll be given some chances to blow us away with that Holy Slapper of his. I know that we're probably supposed to temper our expectations, especially given the line he's skating with, but whatever. Tempering stuff is for losers. Let's see the Hulky-Pulkky tonight and see if we can't turn it all around on the Caps.

Have fun in the comments and let's go Red Wings.
