Detroit's first heartbreaking loss of the season belongs to the Ducks, as Ryan Getzlaf roofed the game-winner with just 24 seconds remaining after what appeared to be a trip that allowed him to take the puck off Niklas Kronwall and walk to the net-front. It was annoying, but that's a long time ago and the Wings probably aren't going to be gifted another goal on an uncalled penalty for a while after what happened on Saturday in Dallas.

Anaheim is one of the top-ten scoring teams in the league, but they're close to the bottom third in preventing goals. If Detroit can find their shot suppression game (and they may have to considering the lineup), they should be able to create an advantage. Dealing with guys like Getzlaf, Perry, and Kesler will be key, but so will guys like Patrick Maroon and Matt Beleskey. Cam Fowler is a real-deal offensive defenseman and the Ducks have good depth at forward in guys like Devante Smith-Pelley.

I hate this team and want bad things to happen to them. I like it even more when the bad things happen because of the Red Wings. I expect there will be plenty of red in the stands tonight, as Wings fans are always well-repped.

Have fun in the comments and let's go Red Wings.
