The Sharks are well-rested and coming off a Stadium Series game loss that endangers their shot at making the playoffs this season. The Sharks have always been a team that chase means of beating success instead of trying to put together a team hellbent on achieving it themselves. After the Wings fell off their radar, the Sharks demolished their forward depth in exchange for facepunchers to provide "grit." Naturally, they've gotten worse as a result.
However, the Sharks still own the Wings as far as recent head-to-head matchups go. Detroit needs to change that in order to avoid losing to all three California teams on this trip.
Have fun in the comments and let's go Red Wings.
