GRRRRRRRR. RIVALRY NIGHT!

Detroit takes on the Metropolitan Division-leading New York Rangers at the Joe in their first game back from a challenging but rewarding road trip. The Rangers have been playing well this season and look to have gotten better with the addition of Keith Yandle. Just like pretty much every other Eastern Conference contender, the Rangers are "all-in."

This will be a good test for both teams. Yandle already has his first game with the Blueshirts as he went -1 in a 4-1 victory over the Nashville Predators on Monday. Detroit will be trotting out their new additions in Erik Cole and Marek Zidlicky, as well as welcoming back the most-handsome Swede on either two teams (suck it, Lundqvist).

The battle for a home ice round in the playoffs starts now for Detroit. Can they get it done at home on the big stage with the annoying announcers crowing on?

Have fun in the comments and let's go Red Wings.
