After an exciting day one of the 2015 NHL Draft, the Red Wings took Russian forward Evgeny Svechnikov at 19th overall.

Here is our reaction to the pick.

The Red Wings have five remaining picks, starting int he third round. They do not have a 2nd round pick due to the deal made for Erik Cole at the trade deadline. We will keep you posted with analyses of all Red Wings picks, and possible trades. Wait.. Trade?! It might just happen.

Keep in mind that the second day is going to move much quicker than the first day. They'll go rounds two through seven in about the same time they did with round one last night. Get excited!
