Another great move by Ken Holland. The cap hit may be a little too high, but the term is amazing, and Richards is a talented player who had a redemption season last season with the Blackhawks.

In the article, Nicklas Lidström said this when asked whether #91 should be retired: ""Eventually I think that's going to happen," Lidstrom said. "Sergei had a great career for the Wings and he was a fun player to watch, a fun player to play with. He was such a dynamic player that he could win the game by himself. Sergei in his heyday, when he was at his best, he was probably if not the best, in the top three in the league." I completely agree.
