Red Wings News:
Luke Glendening appears to be an already favorite of Jeff Blashill, and with good reason. Glendening thinks the Red Wings will get the same type of coach out off Blashill as they did with Mike Babcock.

Kulfan says the Red Wings remain to be the same team in his latest article:
D Mike Green is a valuable addition, and F Brad Richards adds versatility. But the loss of Mike Babcock, arguably the best coach in the NHL, balances out the acquisitions. Losing Pavel Datsyuk (ankle) early doesn't help, either.

Seattle might have missed out on applying for an expansion application, but the man who is building an arena in a Seattle suburb has been invited to chat with NHL brass. I still think a professional hockey team in Washington would be incredible.
Zac Rinaldo pledges to have more hockey sense? Listen, Zac, you can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig. You have as much hockey sense as an empty beer can.
