With hockey season on the horizon, NHL teams are readying themselves for their main training camps. The Red Wings, as always, will be having their camp at Centre Ice in Traverse City, Michigan. The point of this article is not really to provide any analysis, or breakdowns of what might happen - But to ask you, the reader, what are you most interested in hearing about? Is there a certain player you want us to keep an eye on? Maybe you want a closer look at how head coach Jeff Blashill is doing with his new team.
Here's what you need to know:
Now that we have that out of the way, what would you, the reader, the devoted fan like to hear about? I will personally be in attendance doing coverage, and I plan to have sound-bits of interviews from certain players, analysis, reaction, and overall thoughts on the events for each day from Saturday on. We'll likely be hearing from players like Brad Richards, Mike Green, Henrik Zetterberg, Tomas Tatar, Gustav Nyquist, Petr Mrazek, and the list goes on. Not to mention coaches, and front office staff. I'll do my best to provide as much as possible, but I would really love to hear what the people want.
Additionally, if you plan on attending this weekend, please feel free to drop us a line. This is a community, and I would really like to setup a possible meet up on Saturday or Sunday after practice takes place. I'll put up a poll asking if you're going or not, and if there are a large number planning on attending, I'll look into organizing a WIIM party, or something.
