The Big Story

Insider Trading: Could Trouba land in another Canadian city? | TSN

Bob McKenzie, Darren Dreger and Pierre LeBrun discuss the Ducks re-signing Hampus Lindholm and what that means for their roster moving forward. It seems like Anaheim is okay cap-wise and won't need to move Cam Fowler in the near future.

The TSN crew also touches on the future of Jacob Trouba. They don't think he will be a fit for another Canadian team. They don't mention Detroit at all (nor other specific teams), but getting rid of teams north of the border eliminates some potential competition for the Red Wings.

LeBrun also near the end of the video adds a great nugget about Las Vegas being able to sign unrestricted and restricted free agents in June before the expansion draft. That adds a fun new wrinkle the craziness we'll get next summer.
