Sure, why not? Despite only playing in 31 total games for the Blues in the 1995-96 NHL season, Gretzky will lace up his skates once again to play in an alumni game this season. The NHL is a business and nobody is better for the hockey business than the Great One.

I’ve personally never heard Bob Kaser call a Griffins’ game but he seems to be drawing some glowing reviews from those who have heard his work. It’s always great to see somebody get promoted to Detroit from Grand Rapids, no matter what their role is.
