The Carolina Hurricanes announced today that the makeup date for last week’s cancelled game between Detroit and Carolina will be made up March 27.

— Carolina Hurricanes (@NHLCanes) December 23, 2016
Tickets from Dec. 19 are valid for the new date.
This means Detroit will play the very rare back-to-back-to-back. The reason it’s very rare is because it’s generally a player safety issue. It would be interesting to see if the players were asked to weigh in.
Detroit will now play Sunday the 26th against Minnesota (at Detroit), then play in Carolina the next two nights.
The Wings then get a day off before flying to Tampa to play the Lightning.
