Dylan Larkin sat out one game during the World Cup of Hockey pre-tournament exhibition. When he drew into the lineup, he surged for two goals, and made an immediate impact as a third-line winger. Going into tonight’s match-up with Team Finland, Dylan Larkin will be playing on Team North America’s second line:
NA lines vs. Finland
— Craig Custance (@CraigCustance) September 18, 2016
Matthews - McDavid - Scheifele
Gaudreau - Eichel - Larkin
Drouin - RNH - MacKinnon
Trocheck - Couturier - Saad
I’m going to call this the “All-American” line, because A. They are all American, and B. They are all very, very good.
Unfortunately for the NHL, they will be competing against NFL football tonight. The good news is that most die-hard hockey fans won’t want to miss watching Team North America play. The new lineup should solidify that, no doubt. If you don’t have any teams playing in Sunday Night Football (Green Bay vs Minnesota), I suggest you tune into the World Cup of Hockey at 8pm ET, which will be on ESPN2. Find out other ways to watch it here.
