Coyotes Blog: Five For Howling

The Detroit Red Wings suffered their first loss of the season on Tuesday, a 4-2 drubbing at the hands of the Dallas Stars. It was a coming-to-terms game, as the previously-winless Stars looked like the team everyone expected them to be this year, while the Wings looked like the strugglers everyone expected them to be.

But the Wings have an opportunity to right the ship against an Arizona squad that isn’t so good, despite featuring Oliver Ekman-Larson, Max Domi, and a slew of other good young players. It should be a pretty evenly matched showing for two teams that will likely struggle this season.

No news yet on who is in and out with the Forwards and Blue Line. Howard is back in net. We will keep you posted on any changes or David Booth sightings. Danny DeKeyser’s status is still questionable after he left Tuesday’s game early, but we’ll know more after the team takes the ice in Glendale.
