Dylan Larkin is such an everydayer that his calendar is eight days long. Seriously though, it’s heartening to read this. Detroit’s last generation of bests spent a lot of time on both the power play and penalty kill, and when a player can do both well it spells good things for the future.

Team WHL roster announced for 2017 CIBC Canada Russia Series | Western Hockey League

Dennis Cholowski and Michael Rasmussen have both been named to Team WHL for the CIBC Canada Russia series. Team WHL will play against Russia’s best youngsters on November 6th and 7th.

This is just a recap of last night’s tilt between between Toronto and Washington, Detroit’s two remaining foes this week, but taking a look to see how they did last night against each other gives a decent indicator of how they will perform against the Wings. Toronto obviously played last night and should be tired, and Washington will be coming into the new LCA for only it’s third game, so I wish I could take back my prediction on WIIM radio, but I think this is what my dad meant when he said the horse is out of the barn.
