Brian Boyle: 'I've never cried after a goal before' - Sportsnet.ca
I know how much I disliked Boyle when he played for Tampa Bay. But, then you remember that these are human beings, and you can look at the bigger picture.
No matter where your hockey allegiance lies, everyone was rooting for Brian Boyle on Thursday night.
Five minutes into the first period of the New Jersey Devils‘ game against the Edmonton Oilers, Boyle put the puck past Cam Talbot to register his first goal since being diagnosed with cancer.
I just got home from this game, and the fans gave him a great ovation. Best wishes, Brian.
