Keys to the Game

There will be no tapping of the brakes

The Wings have played two very solid games in a row, now we see if it’s a fluke or a sign of good things to come. Ending the roadtrip on a high note and bringing the momentum back home could set us up to keep on rolling. Not to get ahead of ourselves, but Jackets, Flames (again), Sabres, Avs, Oilers (again) all at home coming up. If we want points, now is the time.*

*Shut up #TeamTank you can keep your well reasoned arguments. Besides, I’ve seen the March schedule too.

Do your little turn on the catwalk

You know what’s been really great about the last two games? I haven’t actually noticed Zetterberg’s play that much compared to the rest of the team, and no #DepressedZetterberg interviews either.

Everybody has been having their shining moments, which makes us unpredictable. One minute they’re hopelessly chasing after AA and the next minute LGD is throwing his garbage in their goalie’s face and then here comes Frk to blast his way onto the score sheet. All of our lines have completely different strengths and all have been dangerous.

Let’s Go Red Wings!
