WIIM Radio Mailbag: The Year End Edition

Welcome to our newest WIIM Radio Mailbag. We’ll be recording a new episode late tonight with the plans of having it out for you in the morning. Here’s a rundown of the topics we’ll cover during our time together:

Red Wings Latest - What’s happened since the last time we recorded? How is “the process” working? How many more sad faces can Henrik Zetterberg make in post-game interviews? Ansar Khan speculated that Detroit may start selling earlier than expected if the distance between them and the last playoff spot reached double digits. The team is currently 11 points out of a playoff spot. We’ll also talk about what Tyler Bertuzzi represents lately in terms of the organization.

Around the League/World - World Junior Championships are in full swing. Zac Rinaldo got the equivalent of a slap on the wrist compared to what he should have gotten. Is anybody outside of the state of New York (or even in the state of New York) excited about the Winter Classic? What of Melnyk or the Golden Knights? These and perhaps other topics.

Positivity Corner - Again, we are really going to need this.

Reader Questions - Put your best questions in the comments and we’ll go through them. We’re not going to answer questions about Holland and/or Blashill. If you want to hear about that, listen to our last episode. Or most episodes for the last 2 years.

Looking Ahead - What do we think Detroit will do in their next batch of games?

Recording starts late on Thursday night, so get your questions in before then and be on the lookout for the new episode Friday morning. Thanks, and LGRW!
