No word yet on any changes from the Morning Skate, but the Wings did recall Brian Lashoff from Grand Rapids this morning.
Brian Lashoff will be available tonight in Arizona if somebody else can't go for #RedWings

We’ll have to see whether or not he’s playing tonight, however there’s no word yet from the team on that front. Check back here for updates throughout the day as the Wings get ready to take on the Coyotes in Arizona tonight.
Update: The Coyotes seem to be playing Teemu Pulkkinen over Anthony Duclair tonight. He’ll take Duclair’s spot on the Coyotes’ 4th line.

Keys to the Game
Superb shootout teams
The Wings and Arizona are two of the best teams this year in the shootout, we’ve yet to lose a game during the skills competition and the ‘Yotes are 6-1. Both teams are shooting at roughly 45% and have save percentages near 80%, which is pretty good. So if this one gets past regulation and the 3-on-3 overtime period, expect a good show in the shootout.
Stop. Giving. Up. Shorthanded. Goals.
I don’t mind us not scoring on the powerplay, but what drives me absolutely banana sandwich is giving up shorties. We’ve drawn 87 penalties and taken 82 over the past two months and in that time have given up 5 shorthanded goals at 5v4 alone. That sucks, especially when we’ve only scored 8 times at 5v4. Not scoring on the powerplay is fine for this team right now, but let’s at least keep the puck out of our own net for those 2 minutes.
