Dream come true for Smashville as Predators advance to Stanley Cup Final | Mark Spector, Sportsnet
Everyone in hockey (except for Anaheim and Marc Bergevin) is happy to see Nashville in the Final. After watching the last few games of this series, I was again reminded why I could never root for Anaheim. But, enough of that, here’s Pekka Rinne discussing how it feels to make it to the Stanley Cup Final.
“It’s a dream come true,” the big Finnish goalie Pekka Rinne, who came here as an eighth-round pick and has become this club’s longest standing member and de facto captain. “But it's a funny thing, though. When everything is happening around us, you still feel hungry, and now we have a chance to play for the Cup.
“It’s a pretty amazing feeling. And you’ve been working for that for a long, long time.”

In Red Wings Land
It was a light day in Red Wings news, so here is another article about how Tyler Bertuzzi has been faring for the Griffins.
Tyler Bertuzzi and Martin Frk each had an assist Sunday – for Bertuzzi, that puts him at 11 points in 10 games this spring. His playoff numbers really are impressive: 31 points in 33 career AHL playoff games; his last year of juniors, he had 17 points in 18 playoff games for Guelph.
The Griffins get back to it at home on Wednesday.
