It’s really good to see Todd Nelson so thrilled with Svechnikov and this is a calming read for me because I’ll admit that his early season struggles had me worried. It’s funny to consider he’s almost a point-per-game guy in the playoffs considering how relatively quiet he’s looked, but you also have to consider that while he hasn’t exactly taken over games, he’s been extremely tough for oppositions to play against. I want him to get a real shot at making the big club next year.

Every once in a while a headline so obvious that it makes you roll your eyes comes along. This is one of those times. Pekka Rinne isn’t even ordinary; he’s downright bad so far in this series and the Preds can’t afford that.
