The highly-anticipated 2017 NHL Entry Draft has finally arrived. Tonight, the Red Wings will (hopefully) make the highest pick they’ve made since they took Martin Lapointe back in 1991. Unfortunately, we won’t have anyone at the United Center to report on the Draft, but we’re still bringing you top-to-bottom coverage that you can’t find anywhere else.

At the moment, the Red Wings hold the 9th overall pick tonight. There’s a lot of speculation as to if that will stay the same, rise, or lower... Or even if they’ll have another pick to call tonight. Here’s how you can catch all the action.

7 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. CT | Friday, June 23

United Center, Chicago, IL

American TV: NBCSN | Canadian TV: Sportsnet

Live streaming on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app

Here are some of the odds & ends for tonight, according to Bovada:
How Many Trades will there be the First Day of the Draft?
Over/Under 8.5
How many Defensemen will be drafted in the 1st Round?
Over/Under 9
How many Forwards will be drafted in the 1st Round?
Over/Under 21
How many Goaltenders will be drafted in the 1st Round?
Over 0.5 -200 (1/2)
Under 0.5 +160 (8/5)

The top-two picks belong to the New Jersey Devils and Philadelphia Flyers.

In the wake of the Expansion Draft, there are trades to be made, and trades are expected. Will there be any blockbusters? Who knows. We’ll have a list of confirmed prospects the Red Wings want later this morning. Stay tuned.
