Griffins take Red Wings’ jet to Syracuse |

The Griffins were able to fly to Syracuse rather than have to take the bus. I don’t know about you, but I’d be more ready to play after taking a 75 minutes flight as opposed to an eight hour bus ride.

“It’s obviously a nice gesture by the (Red Wings) organization,” Griffins rookie forward Kyle Criscuolo said. “They put a lot of effort into making sure we’re best prepared for the next two games here.”

Sean McIndoe is tired of the debate over who should be the Conn Smythe award winner (in my opinion if Pittsburgh wins it should be Malkin, although if Nashville wins, it’s tougher). So, he decides to help out.

Well, as I always say, when things are bad, find a way to make them worse. So while everyone’s trying to figure out who should be playoff MVP, let’s make things even more complicated with a question: What if we had to give out playoffs-only versions of all the major NHL awards?
