In Red Wings Land
Tyler Bertuzzi: 'I want to be a Wing'
Tyler Bertuzzi is fresh off of winning the Calder Cup Championship with the Grand Rapids Griffins and ready to make the permanent jump to the Detroit Red Wings - and he may just get his chance in 2017-18.
"I want to make the Detroit Red Wings, I want to be a Wing," Bertuzzi said. "Even when I was going back to juniors, I just came in with the same mindset. Just work hard and compete and try and earn a spot."
Bertuzzi may not be far away from realizing his dream. After appearing in seven games with Detroit in 2016-17, the Red Wings are well aware of what they have in Tyler and seemingly appear ready to finally offer him a roster spot with the team.

THN’s top 200 fantasy players for 2017-18 | The Hockey News
Matt Larkin of The Hockey News recently released his list of the NHL’s Top 200 Fantasy Players for 2017-18. Aside from the obvious top ten to twenty players, a few players from the Detroit Red Wings managed to make Larkin’s (no relation) list. In total the Red Wings had four players on the list, plus a few names in the “on the bubble” list.
