Players to watch in Red Wings prospects tournament | MLive

I personally want to see how Michael Rasmussen and Dennis Cholowski do. Those two are probably the most polarizing Red Wings prospects. How they do in this tourney is not going to dictate how their pro hockey careers turn out, but a strong showing will surely make me feel more confident about Holland & co’s last two first round picks.

It would also be great to see players like Evgeny Svechnikov, Vili Saarijarvi and Axel Holmstrom dominate.

Pastrnak, Bruins hope to agree on new contract before training camp |

Hope is not a strategy.

I really, really, really want to see this become a long holdout that cuts into training camp and the preseason. After that I want the Bruins to finally throw their hands up and trade David Pastrnak to a Western Conference team for pennies on the dollar. Boston is so good at trading away talented young forwards. Pastrnak can join the ranks of Joe Thornton, Phil Kessel and Tyler Seguin. Not a bad group to be a part of.
