Red Wings recall Joe Hicketts from Grand Rapids |

Nothing really major here, but Hicketts is in the NHL!!!

I will personally be present to see his NHL debut, and I will definitely focus on him tomorrow night. I’m hoping that he plays well, but either way, I want to see what he can do against a.....good....cough....good.....retch....sorry, I can’t believe the Devils are good, but they are.

The Detroit Red Wings have recalled defenseman Joe Hicketts from the Grand Rapids Griffins.

He can make his NHL debut Monday against the New Jersey Devils at the Prudential Center (7 p.m., Fox Sports Detroit).

Team USA general manager Jim Johannson dies at age 53 – ProHockeyTalk

Horribly sad news.

Sad news from USA hockey on Sunday morning as the organization announced that Jim Johannson, the assistant executive director or USA Hockey and the general manager of the 2018 men’s Olympic hockey team, has died at the age of 53.

According to the announcement, Johannson passed away in his sleep early Sunday morning at his home in Colorado Springs.

Report: Canadiens' Price suffered chronic fatigue at start of season -
Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price was suffering from chronic fatigue at the beginning of this season, according to a report from TVA Sports.

“I was always tired,” Price told TVA. “A guy who eats well and sleeps well like me isn’t supposed to be tired like I was.”
