We are getting ready to record Episode 34 of our NHL podcast “Fer Sure: A 200 Foot Podcast.” If you missed the last episode, you can catch up here.
Please remember that Fer Sure is dedicated to the entire NHL (and more) and that we may not get to all (or any) of the questions. We try to get to at least some of the questions every episode, but we can’t always do it. Our other podcast on the network, WIIM Radio, is dedicated to the Red Wings.
Our special guest for this episode is Sean McIndoe aka Down Goes Brown!
I imagine most, if not all people reading this know who Sean is, but just in case, here is his bio from The Athletic.
Sean McIndoe launched Down Goes Brown in 2008 and has been writing about hockey ever since, with stops including Grantland, Sportsnet and Vice Sports. His new book, The Down Goes Brown History of the NHL, is available for pre-order and will be on shelves in October.
He was also the co-host of the podcast Biscuits, which is sadly no longer recording new episodes. His book is available for pre-order here.
Please send in questions in the comments, or you can also tweet questions to us here. We will talk to Sean about the entire NHL, but that doesn’t mean we can’t ask Red Wings questions.
As a reminder, this isn’t really a discussion post, and if people start answering the questions that other people ask, it can be difficult to fish through them when we’re recording. Basically, if it doesn’t end in a question mark, please don’t put it here.
Look for Episode 34 in your podcast feeds and this website Monday morning. If you are using a podcast app, you can find both this podcast and WIIM Radio (our podcast devoted to the Red Wings) in the same channel - Winging it in Motown. Also, we’ve been asked about the feed not showing up in Google Play/Podcasts. It does not appear to be available there, although we are waiting to hear back. You can find us on Stitcher, which appears to be available for Android devices.
