We haven’t seen any updates for the Red Wings lineups from the diggers, so we’ll go with the starting lineups from the Tampa game. As for what they will look like ten minutes in, your guess is as good as ours. Florida lines are from Daily Faceoff.

Michael Hutchinson is your projected starter for Florida, although it’s not certain.

Also, Michael Matheson is back in the lineup after serving two games for Rock Bottoming Elias Pettersson, concussing the young breakout star forward.

UPDATE:

Here are the lineups from the Red Wings Twitter account.

Keys to the Game

Red Wings, listen carefully:

Shoot the puck into the net. No, not our net. Their net. What? No, the puck needs to go inside of the net. That’s still our net. And that’s the netting that protects the fans, yes I know but that’s not the net I meant.

Yes, it’s not always the same net because in the second period it will be the opposite net and then back to the first one in the third.

Get it now? Do you understand what we’re trying to do here?

Good.

I still feel like you’re not understanding me guys...why is nobody taking notes??

Decisiveness

When you get your buns handed to you over and over again, it can put a dent in the confidence. At this point it’s better to make the wrong decision than hesitate too long and ruin your chance anyway. Especially guys like Bertuzzi who have shown some pep in their step despite the dismal results, you could see him hesitating between pass or shoot and other guys are doing the same.

If you’re going to mess up, mess up because you made a bad decision not because you made no decision. Mess up with the confidence of a player who was born in Michigan.

I can see Blashill’s disapproval from here.

Win the freaking game

I don’t care how ugly it is, I don’t care if every goal is cheap garbage, just find a way. Find a way to win, I mean, don’t like commit any crimes, but other than that. Now I would never recommend witchcraft or summoning spirits or body switching or other supernatural activities. But I’m not, not recommending it.

LET’S GO RED WINGS!
