In Red Wings Land
Little Caesars Arena to install black seats | MLive
LCA announced Monday that it will install permanent black seats. The process begins in December and will be completed in phases. Fans will not be affected during the change from red seats; the work will be done during non-event times.
During the transition, the seats in the lower bowl will be covered with temporary black seat covers for all arena events.
I guess Chris Ilitch doesn’t like seeing all those empty red seats at Red Wings games. It would’ve been way cooler if ownership decided to lower ticket prices to make games more affordable for fans and families instead of just spending money to unnecessarily change perfectly good seats.
