Fer Sure Mailbag - Episode 35: Micah Blake McCurdy

We are getting ready to record Episode 35 of our NHL podcast “Fer Sure: A 200 Foot Podcast.” If you missed the last episode, you can catch up here.

Please remember that Fer Sure is dedicated to the entire NHL (and more) and that we may not get to all (or any) of the questions. We try to get to at least some of the questions every episode, but we can’t always do it. Our other podcast on the network, WIIM Radio, is dedicated to the Red Wings.

For this episode, we will be talking to Micah Blake McCurdy, aka the person behind hockeyviz.com.

If you don’t recognize the site by name, you’ve certainly seen many of its visualizations used in hockey circles for some time now. Obviously, he’s involved in the stats side, but we plan on branching out from that to discuss other topics as well.

Please send in questions in the comments, or you can also tweet questions to us here. We will talk to Micah about the entire NHL, but that doesn’t mean we can’t ask Red Wings questions.

As a reminder, this isn’t really a discussion post, and if people start answering the questions that other people ask, it can be difficult to fish through them when we’re recording. Basically, if it doesn’t end in a question mark, please don’t put it here.
