Updates

Anthony Mantha skated today in practice and, according to Art Regner, was “going pretty hard”, which is a good sign, but as of right now, he’s still a bit off on his return:

So how good’s the ice going to be tonight? Who knows!

Keys to the Game

Dylan Larkin makes it 14

Dylan Larkin is kinda the only fun thing to watch, every time he is on the ice it’s like what magic will happen next?? He’s personally dragging the team as close to victory as possible every night, but I’d be happy to see some dazzling heroics from other guys too.

Turnovers. Stop it.

We got bit in the buns by turnovers against the Stars, and given our naturally shaky defense we can’t afford dumb stuff. Hronek is learning how quickly NHLers capitalize on mistakes, and it’s mostly forgivable as long as he keeps learning. Cholowski has some bad turnovers too, but he’s mostly awesomesauce and is always getting better.

Ericsson.

Just.

*sternly exhales*

Stop.

Do not drink and drive

Going out to celebrate the New Year? I know you all would never drink and drive, but keep an eye on your squad too and yes being buzzed counts as drunk when it comes to driving. Have an awesome time, make your lofty 2019 new year new me goals, but sure you and your friends have safe rides going out and coming back.

If you’re watching the game and need some extra help to get through it before you start your celebrations, no one would blame you. Just be safe!

Do not make me send Zetterglares at you.

LET’S GO RED WINGS!
