Red Wings feeling left out of Winter Olympics’ hoopla

Several of Detroit’s players are already feeling the sting of not being able to represent their home countries in this year’s Winter Olympics. Niklas Kronwall shared his thought’s on the whole situation:

“All the players still don’t quite get why we’re not there,’ Kronwall said. “The possibility of having two Olympics in Asia on top of each other, in an untapped market. We all wish we were there, but we’re not.”

Luckily, we still have the opportunity to watch Pavel Datsyuk once again.
