In Red Wings Land
Frans Nielsen appeared to have a hard time digesting Detroit’s loss to the Boston Bruins on Tuesday night, judging from his post game comments:
“It’s tough to figure out,” he said after a 3-2 defeat against the Boston Bruins on Tuesday at Little Caesars Arena. “We are coming from some really good games where we were shooting pucks, we were competing, we were tough to play against and then we came out tonight and no response at all.
“It’s just frustrating and it’s been like that for a long time.”
We know, and we all share in your pain, Frans.
Around the League
Without current NHL players representing their home countries in this year’s Winter Olympics, the door is wide open for amateur hockey players to make a name for themselves as they compete in PyeongChang. However, they will still have to do their best to not look silly against Pavel Datsyuk.
