Can you believe it? The losing streak is over. That calls for celebration with another episode of WIIM Radio!

*cricket chirps*

The Red Wings have nine games left in the season - so we’ll be covering a variety of topics in this episode, along with reader questions as always. Here’s a look at the rundown...

Icing the kids

Evgeny Svechnikov picked up his first-career NHL goal against the Flyers Tuesday night. He saw just over eight-and-a-half minutes of ice-time. Is that acceptable for a player like him? The team is obviously in transition, and it could be wise to give Geno some bigger minutes with better players. We will also have Dylan Larkin appreciation time in this segment.

How do you watch the game?

Lately, I’ve noticed a lot of fans feeling happy with the team being bad. Personally, I’m in it for the entertainment. I want the team to win every game, but I also want them to be good for the rest of eternity. Is there a middle-ground for you? We won’t play fan-police here. I’m just generally interested in how you feel.

Around the league

What’s the haps around the NHL? Blue Jackets are streaking, Blackhawks are nosediving into irrelevance (lol), and Alex Ovechkin could net another 50-goal season. We’ll also make some too-early predictions for the Stanley Cup Playoffs... We can talk about Petr Mrazek getting chased out of Tuesday night’s game, too!

Positivity corner

Do we still do this? I’ve been out of the game for a while.
