Despite the Wings not being involved, the NHL continues the farce of the playoffs

Yesterday’s Results

New Jersey Devils 2 - Tampa Bay Lightning 5 (TBL leads 1-0)

Toronto Maple Leafs 1 - Boston Bruins 5 (BOS leads 1-0)

OVERTIME Columbus Blue Jackets 4 - Washington Capitals 3 (CBJ leads 1-0)

And just in case you’re STILL undecided:

Bandwagon Rooting Guide - Eastern Conference

Bandwagon Rooting Guide - Western Conference

Philadelphia Flyers (Metropolitan Division 3) at Pittsburgh Penguins (Metropolitan Division 2)

Series: Pittsburgh leads 1-0

Time 7:00pm ET

Television: NBCSN, CBC, ATTSN-PIT, TVAS

Penguins won game one by a 7-0 score. Yikes, Philly.

Minnesota Wild (Central Division 3) at Winnipeg Jets (Central Division 2)

Series: Winnipeg leads 1-0

Time 7:30pm ET

Television: USA, FSN, TVAS2, SN

The harder-to-find matchup was the better series in game 1, but Winnipeg was probably much better than the 3-2 score indicated. Minny had a lead at one point with two quick goals, but that was the only time all game they actually looked dangerous.

Los Angeles Kings (Wild Card 1) at Las Vegas Golden Knights (Pacific Division 1)

Series: Vegas leads 1-0

Time 10:00pm ET

Television: NBCSN, CBC, ATTSN-RM, PRIME, TVAS

Interesting to see how game two will shake out from the 1-0 Vegas win in the opener and the Kings without Drew Doughty for a night.
