We are getting ready to record Episode 26 of our NHL podcast “Fer Sure: A 200 Foot Podcast.” If you missed the last episode, you can catch up here.

Please remember that Fer Sure is dedicated to the entire NHL (and more) and that we may not get to all (or any) of the questions. We try to get to at least some of the questions every episode, but we can’t always do it. Our other podcast on the network, WIIM Radio, is dedicated to the Red Wings.

Our guest this episode is once again Chris Watkins! He is a hockey writer and analyst who has written for a variety of publications including Hockey Graphs and SB Nation’s own Raw Charge. He recently wrote a fantastic article for The Athletic titled: “Outliers: Why the NHL still struggles to break the color barrier” His favorite team is Chicago, but once again we won’t hold that against him ;)

We plan on talking about the draft, free agency, Willie O’Ree finally being voted into the Hockey Hall of Fame, and probably other topics.

Please send in questions in the comments, or you can also tweet questions to us here. As always, you can ask general questions for Jay and me to talk about outside the interview segment.

As a reminder, this isn’t really a discussion post, and if people start answering the questions that other people ask, it can be difficult to fish through them when we’re recording. Basically, if it doesn’t end in a question mark, please don’t put it here.

Look for Episode 26 in your podcast feeds and this website Sunday morning. (It’s normally Monday but we will be talking about free agency, so we don’t want it to be outdated already by the time you hear it!) If you are using a podcast app, you can find both this podcast and WIIM Radio (our podcast devoted to the Red Wings) in the same channel - Winging it in Motown.
