WIIM Radio Mailbag: The Talk-the-Talk Edition

Welcome to the newest WIIM Radio mailbag! We’re trudging along through July waiting for the 2018-19 season to start up and will be passing some of that time talking about hockey stuff for your ears’ pleasure. Here’s a list of topics we’ll get into:

The Blashill Comments - Head coach Jeff Blashill recently told the press that the kids would be favored in ties over veterans. We spent two days discussing that in the comments, but we’ll take even more because it’s at least a refreshing new angle for us to doubt.

The Larkin Situation - Apparently the Wings are looking for five years and Larkin wants six on his impending deal. We’ll try to make sense of all that and figure out how things can fit together.

More Like Cheli-Adios - Chris Chelios left the organization to move closer to family and is now an ambassador for the Hawks. Gross.

Around the League - We’ll roundtable to go over what else is happening around the NHL and cover the hottest news about the teams we all hate (all of them)

Positivity Corner - We’ll see whether this needs to return. Probably yes.
