UPDATE: We have recorded the episode. It will be out tomorrow morning, and I think it’s going to be one that people are really going to like.
We are getting ready to record Episode 28 of our NHL podcast “Fer Sure: A 200 Foot Podcast.” If you missed the last episode, you can catch up here.
Please remember that Fer Sure is dedicated to the entire NHL (and more) and that we may not get to all (or any) of the questions. We try to get to at least some of the questions every episode, but we can’t always do it. Our other podcast on the network, WIIM Radio, is dedicated to the Red Wings.
On this special episode that has been a long time in the making, we have Craig Custance’s triumphant return as well as the first Fer Sure appearance of his fellow Athletic Detroit writer Max Bultman. Max covers both the Red Wings and the Tigers for TA:Detroit.
As I said above, this has been long in the making (and Jay did all the work). Rather than our normal interview segment, Craig and Max will be with us for the entire episode. It will also be recorded at Joe Louis Arena (although I’ll be in NJ).
Please send in questions in the comments, or you can also tweet questions to us here. We are putting up this mailbag early because we imagine that a lot of people will have questions for our guests. I want to stress that with the time limit of the episode, we cannot guarantee to get to your question.
As a reminder, this isn’t really a discussion post, and if people start answering the questions that other people ask, it can be difficult to fish through them when we’re recording. Basically, if it doesn’t end in a question mark, please don’t put it here.
Look for Episode 28 in your podcast feeds and this website Friday morning. If you are using a podcast app, you can find both this podcast and WIIM Radio (our podcast devoted to the Red Wings) in the same channel - Winging it in Motown. Also, we’ve been asked about the feed not showing up in Google Play/Podcasts. It does not appear to be available there, although we are waiting to hear back. You can find us on Stitcher, which appears to be available for Android devices.
