Keys to the Game
The Elite and Most Radiant Sons of Detroit
We have Mantha (Hustle), Larkin (Heart), and Bertuzzi (GRIT) bringing all the important tangibles and intangibles together as an elite top line. They’ve been on a roll and show no signs of slowing down. They’re cranky pants about everyone writing this team off, which gives them the chip on their shoulder that keeps the fire going even when everyone else is playing Not Good™.
Larkin is going to score tonight.
Everybody else
We won in Montreal because the other three lines started rolling. Specifically, Erne has stumbled a bit at times, but he seems to be fitting in very well and de la Rose looks like he’s also found his stride. The return of Andreas Athanasiou is a huge gain for our second line and having shaken off the rust in Montreal we should see him up to his usual speedy goal scoring antics tonight.
And you know what, good work Danny DeKeyser on being pretty decent so far. This is his year!
Cheer louder than the Leafs fans YOU COWARDS
I’m not saying the arena has to be full, I’m just saying Leafs fans always show up and are always rowdy. Don’t let them bring that filth in our house.
LET’S GO RED WINGS!
