Game Preview
Detroit plays host to the Sharks this afternoon for the first meeting with their former playoff foes. The Sharks are looking like a decent candidate to come out of the West as they battle with Calgary for the top spot in the Pacific (which is looking like it will also be the top spot in the conference as well). The Wings? We’ll, you’ve been around; you know where they stand.
Detroit will have Madison Bowey available and Filip Zadina up to welcome a Sharks team that’s coming off a down performance yesterday in Columbus. San Jose was shut out by Sergei Bobrovsky and watched Matt Duchene score his first goal as a Blue Jacket while putting only 26 shots on net for the day.
Lineup Notes
The Wings practiced yesterday with both of their new additions, but it looks like only the drafted one will be in the lineup (and on the power play, if the tweets are to be believed)
