Andrew Copp cautiously optimistic for Red Wings season-opener - MLive

He added: “I feel like I’m pretty strongly going to play in that game, but we’ll see. You’d rather be healthy for 78 games than come back too early and mess it up and it’s three weeks into the season.”

Coach Derek Lalonde said they’ll continue being cautious with Copp who will experience ups and downs in his recovery.
