Detroit Red Wings Goal Songs for Individual Players
If there's one thing I appreciate in my hockey-watching experience, it's personality. Hell, it doesn't even have to be a necessarily charming personality as long as it's not boring. There are lots of ways to be boring in presenting a hockey game, but my least-favorite is having a singular goal song which plays no matter who scored.
This is what a horn is for, dummies. There's no personality to hearing 'Zombie Nation' or 'Chelsea Dagger' every single time. Of course, when you've got a dumb fanbase, you kind of have to establish a single standard celebration for when somebody scores; otherwise the simpleton dipshits in the stands won't know what to do, especially if you make them think about the song you're playing.
The good news for Red Wings fans is that they're not simpleton dipshits. The better news is that there's a ton of songs that they could play at the Joe depending on who scores. We all put our heads together and came up with a list for the Red Wings to use. Even better, we didn't stop at just one song for everybody. Our local DJ's got plenty to choose from.
