Quick Hits: The Ceiling Edition
In Red Wings Land
By the Numbers: Tyler Bertuzzi | DetroitRedWings.com
With his willingness to go to the hard areas, including the net-front, Bertuzzi can take the next step in his development by increasing his production on the power play, where he had only six of his 47 points.
Bertuzzi’s high hockey IQ and accompanying grit make him a hard player to play against and someone who will continue to get better as he develops along with the other young Wings.
I’m a huge Tyler Bertuzzi mark. I got his jersey for my birthday last year and I’ve got a first class ticket on the his hype train. With that said, what do we think Bertuzzi’s ceiling is as a player? I think he can be a consistent 50-point forward and a great pest. If that’s where he ends up the rest of his career, I think that’s a great role for him on the Red Wings.

The NHL is better (and more fun) with a healthy Connor McDavid.
