Detroit Red Wings vs Arizona Coyotes: Updates, Lineups, Keys to the Game
Updates
#RedWings recalled Christoffer Ehn from @griffinshockey under emergency conditions (not enough healthy players), so it won’t count against their recall limit, for tonight’s game at @ArizonaCoyotes Vanek (hip), Daley (back) and Mantha (flu) apparently out.

"They've got high-end talent. They're fast. They're at a point where people want to impress people. We were like that last year (at this time). So it's a dangerous game. I don't care who we play, we can't take anybody for granted." --Coach Tocchet https://t.co/BS0lO4y7YU

Keys to the Game
Start on Time
The last game and many other times this season the Red Wings did not show up fully at puck drop and found themselves in an early hole they had to fight out of. That can take a toll on a team over the course of a season and then things like the 8-1 drubbing from Montreal happen. While Arizona is having a better season than the Wings they are beatable but the Wings need to show up on time.
Get Zadina Involved
So, this is a bit cheating as it is really more of a long term key to success than this specific game, but it is important for the Wings to find some ways to keep Filip Zadina’s first two game progress going and get him involved as much as possible. The Coyotes are not an uber defensive team so this could be a game to let him loose a little more, get him into good scoring positions and see if they can get him on the scoreboard.
