Don Cherry Thinks the Red Wings Are Lucky With Their Drafting

SUNRISE, FLA -- Don Cherry went on a little rant this evening right before the 2015 NHL Draft commences. What was it about? He basically said that after the 1st and 2nd round in any draft, it's a crap shoot to find talent. One of the prime examples, of course, is the Detroit Red Wings. What did he have to say about the Red Wings and their drafting plunder over the past couple of decades? Have a look:

Call it luck, or call it supreme scouting and drafting.. Call it whatever you want. The Detroit Red Wings have done an incredible job at finding talent in the later rounds consistently every single year. I don't know about you, but I think it's pretty difficult to get lucky year-in, and year-out. You do you, Grapes.
