One more game until the Red Wings can rest their tired bones for the holiday. Tonight’s matchup with the (also struggling) St. Louis Blues comes on the heels of back-to-back losses against the Montreal Canadiens.
To make matters a little worse, depending on who you ask, Detroit will be without Simon Edvinsson AND Ben Chiarot tonight. Defenseman William Wallinder is listed on the roster on the Red Wings official site, but there hasn’t been an official announcement of his call up as of 5:00 PM ET. I would be shocked if Wallinder played this game.
