It’s going to be an interesting lineup for the Wings tonight after Olli Maatta was traded to Utah, and now Vladimir Tarasenko is dealing with the flu bug that has been making the rounds in Detroit’s locker room. Tarasenko will be a game-time decision. Detroit called up Austin Watson from Grand Rapids earlier today, so that would suggest that Tarasenko will miss tonight and Watson will be in the starting lineup.
The Winnipeg Jets have been the hottest team in the NHL — only earning their first loss of the season Monday night against the Maple Leafs. It’s a tough matchup for Detroit, who is struggling to put much together so far.
