OOOOOOHHHHHH BABY DETROIT RED WINGS HOCKEY IS BACK.
The Wings will host the Penguins tonight in their season opener at Little Caesars Arena. While it’s Detroit’s first game of the season, Pittsburgh is coming off an ass-beating at the hands of the New York Rangers last night. That game had a final of 6-0, so nothing went well for the Pens. Tristan Jarry got absolutely lit up, so I am guessing we’ll see their other goalie between the pipes tonight.
The Wings are healthy and ready to go. Unlike the Penguins, they won’t have a back-to-back to start the season. Nashville pays a visit on Saturday night.
